About Middle Brook Fiberworks
Middle Brook Fiberworks grew out of the pure joy of creating and sharing creative fiber arts endeavors with others.
Anne Choi is a fiber artist raising a small flock of Shetland sheep in Bedminster, NJ. The Middle Brook flock provides small-batch, custom milled Vintage Blend yarns. Anne teaches weaving, spinning, and dyeing with a focus on using natural, biodegradable materials and ecologically sustainable practices. Her workshops center the global heritage of textile handicrafts that precede colonization, and honor the cultural legacy of traditional artisans. She is the owner ofÂ
Anne is the founder and executive director of NJ Fibershed, a New Jersey 501(c)(3) educational organization. NJ Fibershed provides support and resources for first-generation farmers, and works to nurture a diverse and equitable community of fiber producers and fiber artists in New Jersey.
Middle Brook Fiberworks is located in Bedminster, NJ, unceded land of the Lenape peoples. The farm sits amidst scenic horse farms and historic estates. The eponymous Middle Brook runs through acres of old growth woods along the west side of the property.  It is located an hour west of NYC with easy access to Routes 287 & 78.
